How Can rapid Heart Rate Along With Cough Be Treated?

I was in the hospital the other day with a heart rate of 160. They got it down and sent me home with antibiotics but I also have a terrible cold. I went and got some cough meds (robitussin) and I m back up to 100bpm. Is it because of the meds and my sickness or should I be concerned?
